How to make palak paneer paratha
What need to make palak paneer paratha?
1. Whole wheat flour (atta) and all purpose flour (maida) for outer surface
2. Palak and paneer mixer with spices
Paneer: There is two ways to get paneer. One is buying packet paneer from market. And second is you can make at home easily. You just need milk and acidic ingredient like vinegar, lemon, curd. Homemade paneer is far superior to store-bought paneer.
Spinach: Use cooked spinach rather than directly chopped spinach. Just boil chopped spinach for 2-3 minutes.

1οΈβ£ Gather ingredients for making a dough
In a large mixing bowl add
π 220 gm cups of whole wheat flour,
π 80 gm whole purpose flour Maida,
π 2 teaspoon of oil or ghee
π Β½ teaspoon of salt.
2οΈβ£ Knead a dough
π Slowly add 140 ml water (Β½ cup) in portions as needed for mixing and kneading the dough.
π Remember not to add all of the water at once.
π Mix and knead into a smooth, soft dough. If you feel lit more water required than just slash the water and again knead the dough.
π Cover with a kitchen towel and set the dough aside to rest for 30 minutes.
3οΈβ£ Cook spinach for 2-3 min.
Before making palak paneer mixer, You will need to pick the palak leaves (60 gm), chop them& cook for 3 min in low flame.
4οΈβ£ Palak paneer mixer preparation
Hereβs what you need for the Spinach Curry. Mix following ingredients in large mixing bowl:
π 150 gm Grated Paneer
π 60 gm Spinach
π 50 gm Grated mozzarella cheese
π 70 gm Onions
π 1 tsp Green chilli
π 3/4 tsp Salt
5οΈβ£ Add necessary ingredients
π 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
π 1/2 Garam masala
π 1 tsp Coriander
Mix all ingredients properly.
6οΈβ£ Maida slurry for joint
π Make 2 tsp whole wheat flour slurry with adding 30 ml water which we will use in joint so that raw palak paneer masala can’t be tear out. (You can use atta or maida, anyone)
7οΈβ£ Roll a paratha in square folding
π Spread lit whole wheat flour dust on a surface so dough not be stick with board.
π Gently flatten the dough ball on the palm of your hands to help the filling spread evenly and to make it a 3 to 4 inch thick disc.
π Fill raw palak paneer masala and cover it in a following steps mension in above image and again role as square shape.
8οΈβ£ Cook the paratha
π Once youβve rolled out the paratha dough square, heat a tawa (skillet) over medium heat on the stovetop.
π To test the hotness of the skillet, sprinkle a few pinches of flour if it browns in a few seconds, the tawa is hot enough to begin with the paratha roasting.
π Place one of the paratha onto the tawa.
π A thin skillet or pan will need medium heat and a heavy skillet or pan will need medium-high to high heat.
π When the bottom of the paratha slightly brown and puff up and bubble, flip it over with a spatula.
π Spread on some ghee. Flip again when the second side is about Β½ way cooked. You will see brown spots now.
π Now spread ghee on second side.
π Repeat the process to cook all of the flatbreads.
Now palak paneer paratha ready to serve.

- In a bowl, add 220 grams whole wheat flour,
80 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2
tablespoons oil and mix it well. - Add 140 milliliters water and knead it into a dough. Rest for 30 minutes.
- Take a pan, add 800 milliliters water, 60 grams spinach and blanch for 2-3 minutes.Remove it from heat and strain it.
- In a bowl, add 150 grams grated paneer, blanched spinach, 50 grams grated mozzarella cheese, 70 grams onions, 1 teaspoon green chili, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
- In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour, 30 milliliters water and mix it well.
- Dust some whole wheat flour on a clean surface.
- Take a ball from prepared dough and make it flatten with the help of rolling pin.
- Add prepared stuffing on it and fold it. (See video)
- Brush the edges with prepared slurry and fold it.
