How to make makhania biscuit
Take a butter & mix it
👉 In bowl, take 150 gm butter. Mit it for 1-2 minutes. With doing that yellow butter becomes slightly white.
Add Ghee & Sugar and again mix properly
👉 Add 50 gm ghee in mixed butter.
👉 Add 1 tbsp sugar & again mix properly.
👉 Remember, using a semi solid ghee is best. Means not too hard or in a liquid form. If you making in summer put butter in fridge.
Add Maida, Wheat flour, Baking powder, Rava & Salt
👉 Add 1 cup maida (240 gm) and 1 cup wheat flour (240 gm).
👉 Add 1/2 tbsp baking powder
👉 Add 25 gm rava and 1/2 tbsp salt
👉 Mix well
Add Cumin & Curd and knead the dough
👉 Add 1 tbsp cumin
👉 Add 25 gm curd
👉 Mix well and knead the dough
👉 Cover the dough with a plastic sheet and refrigerate it for 10-15 min.
👉 Preheat the oven for 15-20 minutes at 160°
Give a shape and Bake it
👉 Take out the dough from the refrigerator and make small ball-sized portions of dough.
👉 Make sure all shape should be equal that helps in baking. Avoid shaping the biscuits with your hands.
👉 Give the shape via spoon or any other tool.
👉 Place the biscuits into the preheated.
👉 The baking time may vary depending on your oven. Avoid over-baking the biscuit, because overbake biscuit become hard.
👉 Bake the biscuit: Put in oven for 20-25 minutes at 160°
Alternative option for baking
You can us pressure cooker for baking as well. Take idli cooker for baking. Spread salt at the bottom surface of the cooker. Preheat cooker for 5-7 min. Remove the vissel & arrange raw cookies on plates. Bake it for 10 minutes. Now, cookies are ready.
Alternative option for shaping
We are using spoon but you can shape according to your convince. Make sure all size should be equal which helps in perfectly bake all biscuits.
