How to make khari biscuit

Number of biscuit: 22-25 with using 2 cup maida

Gather all ingredients

๐Ÿ‘‰ Before starting the recipe, gather all necessary ingredients together.
๐Ÿ‘‰ 2 cup maida
๐Ÿ‘‰ 1 teaspoon salt
๐Ÿ‘‰ 2 teaspoon oil
๐Ÿ‘‰ 3/4 chilled water
๐Ÿ‘‰ 8 teaspoon margarine

Start dough making process

In a large mixing bowl mix all below given ingredients:
๐Ÿ‘‰ 2 cup maida
๐Ÿ‘‰ 1 teaspoon salt
๐Ÿ‘‰ 2 teaspoon oil
๐Ÿ‘‰ 3/4 chilled water
Using a chilled water is very important. In baking biscuit measurements and process must be follow.

For jeera khari, you have to add roasted jeera in bowl.

Knead the dough

๐Ÿ‘‰ Mixing the dough to the right consistency. Resting and stretching & folding or kneading the dough.

Spread mix margarine on dough

Knead the dough with book folding dough (2 times)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Knead dough with book folding method 2 times:
๐Ÿ‘‰ 1st time: Roll in rectangle round shape.
Fold from both side and again fold it.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Now, again roll in rectangle round shape. Add margarine.
๐Ÿ‘‰ 2nd time: Repeat the book folding step.

Knead the dough with simple folding (2 times)

๐Ÿ‘‰ 3rd time: Roll the dough in rectangle round shape. Give simple folding. Add margarine. And again roll it.
๐Ÿ‘‰ 4th time: Repeat the simple folding step.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Now you complete all 4 folding dough steps.

If you want to make a puff, cream roll, you need same this dough.

Give the shape into the biscuit

๐Ÿ‘‰ Roll the dough in rectangle shape. Cut the corner with knife and make rectangle shape.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Now give the small biscuit pastry shape using knife.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Take tray and arrange all cutting pastry.

Bake the biscuit

๐Ÿ‘‰ For oven: Preheat oven for 10 minutes. Bake the biscuit at 200ยฐ for 20 minutes.
