How to make kantola/kakora sabji

Rinse and cut kantola (spiny guard)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Take 250 gm spiny guard (kantola). Rinse and cut into small pieces as shown in above image. Rinsing is important because spiny guard outer part has chance dusty.
๐Ÿ‘‰ If from spiny guard red seeds comes out then remove it. You can use outer part from them.

Saute onion and tomato

๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 2 tsp oil
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 3/4 tsp cumin (jeera)
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1 finely chopped onion
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 2 chopped green chilli
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Saute for 1 minute
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 2 finely chopped tomato
Saute for 5 minute

Add necessary ingredients and cook

๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/2 tsp coriander powder
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi powder)
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/2 tsp Garam masala
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/2 cup water
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Cook kantola (spiny guard)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
๐Ÿ‘‰ Add 250 gm chopped Spiny guard (kantola)
๐Ÿ‘‰ Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes at medium flame
๐Ÿ‘‰ Then, add 1 glass water and cook for 12-15 minutes at medium flame.
๐Ÿ‘‰ And at the end add 1/2 lemon juice and 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
