How to make kantola/kakora sabji
Rinse and cut kantola (spiny guard)

Take 250 gm spiny guard (kantola). Rinse and cut into small pieces as shown in above image. Rinsing is important because spiny guard outer part has chance dusty.
If from spiny guard red seeds comes out then remove it. You can use outer part from them.
Saute onion and tomato

Add 2 tsp oil
Add 3/4 tsp cumin (jeera)
Add 1 finely chopped onion
Add 2 chopped green chilli
Add 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Saute for 1 minute Add 2 finely chopped tomato
Saute for 5 minute
Add necessary ingredients and cook

Add salt according to taste
Add 1/2 tsp coriander powder
Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi powder)
Add 1/2 tsp Garam masala
Add 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Add 1/2 cup water
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Cook kantola (spiny guard)

Add 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
Add 250 gm chopped Spiny guard (kantola)
Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes at medium flame
Then, add 1 glass water and cook for 12-15 minutes at medium flame.
And at the end add 1/2 lemon juice and 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
