How to make bhagat muthiya
Some people made chana dal muthiya and have it. In this recipe we cover start to end everything, muthiya with curry. Muthiya (Kofta) are crispy, bite-size fried stuff. Compliment of curry and muthiya which make it amaze dish. Muthiya sabji are filled with gorgeous pure spices before make it crunchy.
Soak and grind the chana dal
π Take 1 cup of chana dal in a bowl. Add appropriate water into it. Add 1 pinch (1/16 teaspoon) of cooking soda. It takes for an one hour.
π Now take out from the bowl and separate out the water. It will use afterwards in this recipe.
π Grind the chana dal with using small cutter grinder (Not to fine). ON/OFF grinder multiple times that will help in mixing the dal.
Add necessary spices
Add following ingredients in mixing chana dal:
π 1 tsp Ginger Paste
π 1 tsp Green chilli paste
π 1 tsp Garlic Paste
π 1/4 tsp Haldi powder
π 1/2 Jeera powder
π 1 tsp Dhaniya Powder
Mix well with essential ingredients
π 1/4 tsp Hing
π 1 chopped onion (medium size)
π 1/4 tsp Salt
Mix well and again add
π 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
π 2 tsp hot oil
Roll in laddu shape and fry
π Roll into the small size ball.
π Take oil into the pan and just fry all the ball. Balls becomes little bit harder.
Saute onions with essential spices
Take 3 teaspoon oil and add spices
π 1 Bay Leaf (Tej Patta)
π 2 Cloves (Lavang)
π 2 Green Elaichi (Green Cardamom)
π 1 stick Dalchini (Cinnamon)
π 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Add onions when slightly smell come and cook till it’s colour gets slightly brown.
π Add 1/4 hing with onions.
Cook potato
π Add 1 tsp Ginger Paste, 1 tsp Garlic Paste and 2 chopped potatoes. Mix well the curry.
π Cook it for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
Add tomato & cook it
π 1 tblsp Red Chilly Powder
π 1/2 tsp Dhaniya Powder
π 1/2 tsp Jeera Powder
π 1/2 tsp Haldi powder
π 1 finely chopped tomato
π 1/2 tsp salt (afterwards add according to taste)
Cook for 2 minutes.
Make bhagat muthiya curry
π Add 1 cup hot dal water and 1 cup normal hot water. Cook the curry till the potato fully cook.
π Now add pieces of 4 bhagat muthiya and 1 cup hot water.
π 1 tsp Garam masala
π Spread 3 tsp Coriander.
